Motherhood is a whirlwind world with a new adventure of love, laughter, and unexpected twists every day. In this interview, our owner shares more about how she combines this responsibility with the hustle of her own business and personal life.

What does motherhood mean to you?

To me, motherhood mainly means enjoying the daily ups and downs. It's wonderful to see my children grow up, with all their quirks and funny moments. It's also a significant responsibility, but it's very fulfilling to watch them grow and develop. It's a mix of challenges and, above all, a lot of fun.

How do you find balance between work and personal life?

Finding a good balance between work and personal life is sometimes a challenge. You want to be there for your children, but at the same time, you don't want to fall short at work.

I find it a challenge to combine these aspects. I am fortunate to have a loving husband with flexible working hours, but I also have the advantage of having enough childcare options in my area. Furthermore, I make sure to always make time for my children's important moments.

In the future, I would like to take more time off during school holidays. My oldest is now starting school for the first time, and I think it's important for him to feel like it's really vacation. Currently, they often have to go to daycare or a babysitter, which is, of course, not the same.

What does a moment of relaxation look like for you?

For me, it's actually enough to take a wonderful walk or have a long bath; this is how I can really relax. This is also one of the reasons why we offer so many bath products in our range, such as bath salts and bath soap. A fun teaser: a fantastic new product will be added to this soon!

What tip would you give to other parents?

It's normal to have occasional feelings of guilt, whether it's about your children or your work. My advice? Don't be too hard on yourself. You're doing your best, and that's enough. Remember that it's also important to take time for yourself occasionally. Small moments of self-care make you a better parent.
